BUTTERED CHICKEN

Assalamualaikum and Ramadhan Kareem ya habibti!

I'm so excited to share the recipe this time because, my improvised buttered chicken is by far the best dish I've cooked! Ish aufa so boastful is it? JK

When  cooking, I can't really tell people the precise measurements because yeah, it depends on your tastes and preferences which results in estimations and whoshh, we became that rat in Ratatouile movie.





What you need:




To marinate:

  • 1 tbsp flour 
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 boneless chicken thighs


Gravy:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 red chilli -thinly sliced
  • 2 *cili padi -thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic 
  • 1 frond curry leaves
  • 2 sliced cheddar cheese
  • 1 tin evaporated milk (or more (1 cup fresh milk) if you want extra gravy)
  • salt and pepper


Should you prepare your chicken in prior an hour before, thats what marinate is,darling.
Mix all ingredients to marinate and let it sit for an hour. Then fry them in non-stick pan until they are golden brown. Set aside.

Heat the pan with butter. Sauté the chillis, garlic and curry leaves until you can smell the fragrance. Add in the milk and let boil. And its time to add the chickens. Tear the cheese and cook until it melts. Season with salt and pepper (I dont).


Note:
If it became too spicy, you can add in sugar or 1 tbsp condensed milk, with guilt. :P




HIKE- BERKELAH WATERFALLS

Berkelah, nak pegi berkelah kat berkelah.

Not supposed to be funny at all,but I really like the word. I like the place even more. However to be truthful to you, Jerangkang waterfalls stay in my mind because, I think the memories made there is precious to me. People say Berkelah is actually ze best, if compared to Jerangkang. The water was clearer, deeper.  And higher cliffs to jump from made it the boys’ favourite.
